Location: Northampton

Shift: Monday – Friday (8.30am – 5pm)

Salary: £17,500 – £19,500 per annum DOE

Our well-established client is looking to expand their existing team and recruit an Office Administrator. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Main duties of an Office Administrator:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls / enquiries / messages and directing these within the service team to be passed via email to the intended recipient or to other departments
  • Data entry and analysis updates
  • Controlling and entering service contracts onto the system
  • Processing warranty claims with Field Service Manager
  • Marketing support- sending out mailshots using mail merge, printing letters and price lists to distribute.
  • Booking hotels & travel – Management support- researching hotels prices within budget, booking hotel and travel arrangements, notifying managers of arrangements, preparing travel documentation
  • Processing purchase orders and sales orders
  • Book buffet lunches for Staff / Visitors & Control Boardroom diary
  • Plus other general office duties
  • Dealing with spare part queries
  • Data entry, updating customer and equipment records
  • Updating Sales Managers quote bank
  • Controlling service contracts
  • Assist with marketing and exhibitions
  • Processing Warranty Claims and customer orders
