A large well-known grower/packer/shipper is looking for an HR (Human Resources)/Food Safety Manager that would also be working with worker safety and food safety to oversee all the employee oversite of the operation.

Key Responsibilities of the HR / Food Safety Manager

  • Track and record daily attendance of all employees
  • Submit Payroll (currently outsourced)
  • Hiring and orientation of new employees
  • Liaison between company and Labor and Industries
  • Worker Safety
  • Food Safety compliance
  • Insurance and Benefits
  • OSHA Compliance

Key Requirements for the Human Resources / Food Safety Manager

  • Experience in basic HR functions
  • Experience training Employees and implementing worker safety policies
  • Working with seasonal labor employees
  • Bi-Lingual would be a bonus
  • Experience with insurance and benefits
  • Experience with OSHA
  • Experience in Farming operations will be essential
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ year’s experience
