Farmer focused seed company is in search of a DSM (District Sales Manager) to cover a territory in South Carolina (SC). This role will be completely focused on farmer directs sales, so top candidates are interacting with farmers in Retail sales, Crop Insurance sales, Ag Equipment sales, Ag Lending roles or potentially other seed companies.
Entrepreneurial minded people will be extremely successful in this role. This is a experienced team new to the market and looking for results while having a high integrity mindset. The management team is really top notch.
Responsibilities for the District Sales Manager role will include:
- Grow the market share by farmer direct sales
- Provide sound agronomic recommendations to customers
- Assess and uncover business opportunities
- Formulate business plan for the geography and execute
A minimum of 3 years sales experience is required for this sales rep position; ideally someone with 5 plus years field sales experience is desired.
The company will offer a solid base salary dependent on experience along with a solid commission and bonus structure and benefits.
