Area Sales Manager
- Basic Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

- Commission – £10k OTE
- Home based cover the Midlands
My client is a market leading designer and manufacturer of a range of electromechanical security products. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hungry sales professional who enjoys selling a project based technical solution.
You will be based from home, speaking to end-users over the phone and face to face in order to promote their technical solutions. You will need to be willing travel across the Midlands developing new business and managing existing accounts.
The Role: Area Sales Manager
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will also be responsible for the following:
- Generate new business across your territory through cold calling and face to face visits
- Make recommendations on their other security products as a project sell
- Develop existing accounts and build client relationships
- Targeting contractors and architects within the construction industry as well as directly to end users
The Candidate: Area Sales Manager
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in selling security products such as: turnstiles, parking barriers, security doors, gates etc. Experience with other products will be also be considered if still selling into the same client base.
You will also have:
- Clear communication skills and ability to build rapport
- Tenacious, determined and proactive
- Willingness to travel
To be able to cover the full Midlands territory, you should ideally live in or around: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire.
